If you have purchased an item from the electronic store behemoth, Best Buy, that you are not entirely in love with, you are in luck. Best Buy offers an all-year-round return policy that applies to purchases from the retailer itself, as well as purchases from its outlets and its subsidiaries.
As with any return policy, conditions do apply. However, Best Buy’s return policy is more than generous.

What is Best Buy’s return policy in 2022?
Best Buy’s return policy is built to be as seamless and pain-free as possible.Best Buy allows a customer to return or exchange most products within 15 days of purchase.
The company understands that sometimes a product just does not work the way you wanted it to or your needs change post-purchase.
This window narrows to 14 days since purchase for activated devices, such as cell phones, tablets, mobile hotspots, and cellular wearables, with the exception of Verizon devices in these categories, which have a 30-day return and exchange window.
It is important to note that the return and exchange window begins on the day you receive your product rather than the date of purchase if the date varies.
For Best Buy Elite members, you get the perk of having a 30-day window for returns and exchanges of most products. However, the 14-day window for activated devices like the ones named above still applies regardless of your membership.
For Best Buy Elite Plus members, the window widens even more allowing up to 45 days from purchase to return or exchange an item. Again, the 14-day window for activated devices, with the exception of Verizon devices, still applies.
Lastly, Best Buy Totaltech members are spoiled with a 60-day window for returns and exchanges of most products, with the exception of activated devices.

Best Buy’s return policy excludes all final sale items and other specified purchases such as custom orders, personalized orders, and subscription digital content. Items to be returned must also be in a like-new condition, meaning items with damages or missing content will be not accepted.
Holiday Return Policy
Now, the window for most purchases made during this holiday season has been extended to January 16, 2022, regardless of your membership status.
This means if you purchase an item from Best Buy anywhere between October 18, 2021, and January 2, 2022, you have until January 16, 2022 to return or exchange that item. This benefit excludes activatable devices and holiday products, such as decorations, artificial trees, and lights.
What is Best Buy’s return policy for online purchases vs. in-store purchases?
Best Buy’s return policy works for both in-store purchases and online purchases. An item purchased online can be returned at any Best Buy physical location or by using a pre-paid shipping label generated by an online return.
Can I return an item at Best Buy without a receipt?
To return an item at Best Buy, you must have the original contents and packaging as well as a receipt, the card used to make the original purchase, and a photo ID.
If you made a purchase online, you may still return that item without the receipt as long as you have the packing slip to show for proof of purchase.
What items cannot be returned at Best Buy without a receipt?
Best Buy asks for proof of purchase for all products in order to process a return. If you are unable to display a receipt or other proof of purchase at the time of the return, you may be able to still return your item by providing the email address tied to the purchase.

Best Buy will accept returns of open-boxed items that are not damaged, as long as you bring in the original packaging and all accessories for the item. If you are unable to provide the original packaging or accessories at the time of the return, you may still be able to return your item with a deduction for the items missing.

I purchased a 85inch TV on 04/26/2022 for 1607.07 and I later cancelled a couple days later on to receive 1444.49 instead of 1607.07. I have called best buy regarding sending me the remaining 162.58 of my money and now it’s june 08, 2022 and I still have not be refunded my money. The product was never installed in my home and the product never left the warehouse so I need the remainder of my money.
