Does Bing Lee Price Match?

Yes. However, the Bing Lee price matching system can be somewhat convoluted in comparison to other companies that price match.

For starters, Bing Lee tends not to price match online companies. A company must meet the following criteria for them to price match:

• They must be a registered business in Australia
• They must be paying GST (i.e. registered for tax within Australia)
• They must have at least two retail outlets in Australia. These retail outlets should have the same name as the online store.

This means that Bing Lee wouldn’t be able to price match companies like Amazon or a small electrical product company.

Does Bing Lee have a Price Adjustment Policy?

Bing Lee does not seem to have a price adjustment policy in place. If you wish to see whether they will price adjust based on sales that BIng Lee is currently running, then you will need to talk to one of their staff members.

Are there any Exceptions?

There are a lot of exceptions to the rule.

We have already told you that Bing Lee will not price match online-only prices. However, there will be plenty more exclusions that you will need to think about too.

It is worth noting that some people have mentioned that Bing Lee will not always accept a price match request. It seems that it is up to their staff whether to grant the price match.

So, even if you meet all of the rest of the terms and conditions of the price matching, you still cannot guarantee that they will match the price.

Thankfully, you will ask them to price match before you make the purchase. This means that if they say no, you aren’t really out of money.

The Store Must Have The Product In-stock

If you want a price matched, then the product must be in stock with the retailer that you are looking to have the price matched again. If you are only going to Bing Lee because you cannot get the product anywhere else, then they will not be able to price match for you.

The Product Must Be Identical To The Product Sold By Bing Lee

Everything about the product must be exactly the same as the product offered by Bing Lee. This means the model number and the condition of the product. It should also include the same accessories offered by Bing Lee.

The Product Cannot Be On Clearance

If the product is being sold on clearance by the company you want to price match against, then Bing Lee will not price match.

It is worth noting that some Bing Lee staff can be a little bit ‘relaxed’ about what they class as clearance. They have been known to class something as clearance simply because it is on sale.

The Product Cannot Be Offered Through Financing

If the deal on the product is only available through financing, then Bing Lee will not price match.

It is worth pointing out at this point that if Bing Lee does price match a product for you, you will not be able to purchase the product using the financing options that they have available. This means that you have to pay outright for the product. 

Product Cannot Be Part Of a Bundle

Any products that are part of a bundle of products will be excluded from the promotion. 

Product Must Come From Within Australia

In the rare case that Bing Lee is able to price match online products, the products must be shipped from within Australia.

Certain Products Are Excluded

Bing Lee will not offer price matching on products from Apple, Miele, or Asko.

They have been known to extend this list from time to time.
