Outside of that window will probably be determined at the discretion of the manager at your local Home Depot. As aforementioned above, Home Depot is likely to honor a customer’s wishes, regardless of being outside of the 90-day window.

Some items that were listed above, if they were purchased with a Home Depot credit card or commercial account, can be recovered all the way out to 365 days from purchase. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Home Depot will honor a return 365 days out.

All that means is that those purchases can be found in the system for up to a year.

The first, and most glaring difference, between the Canadian and American return policies at Home Depot, is the Home Depot credit card and commercial account purchases. 

The Canadian policy is a bit more specific on the 365-day policy. In Canada, purchases made with a Home Depot credit card or commercial account can be returned for up to 365 days.

The American policy is worded differently. That Home Depot policy clearly states that purchases made using those methods can be located in the system for up to 365 days, not that they can be returned.

Luckily, the same generous return 90 day return window applies to both online and in-store purchases.

You can return, exchange, or replace all online purchases in your local Walmart store or you can return items by mail. As long as the item is eligible for a return, Walmart will cover all shipping costs to return by mail unless it is a third-party marketplace item.

Items bought online with the “Pay With Cash” option have to be returned in store.

All returns can be started by using the Walmart app to help speed up the process. Log in and go to “Purchase History” and there is an option called “Mobile Express Returns”. You will get a QR code that will be scanned at the customer service desk.

Foot Locker has currently extended its return policy to 28 calendar days after the date of purchase or date of delivery, and refunds are processed within 14 calendar days. The company advises returning products to stores directly if you are nearing the end of your return window, to avoid any risk of mailing delays.

Foot Locker allows products to be returned for a full refund if customers are not satisfied with their purchase. You can return something up to 28 days after buying it, which is an improvement on the previous Foot Locker policy. However, you do have to meet some criteria, which we are going to explore today.

For clothes to be considered a qualified return, they must:

  • If there are any changes to the box, charges will occur.
