Does Gamestop Price Match?
Yes Gamestop customers recently confirmed Gamestop have started to price match their competitors in store. With the exception of flash specials and bundles, this will function like any other retailer’s price matching policy, in which GameStop would modify the price of its titles if a competitor offers the same game product at a cheaper price.
Haven’t seen GameStop announce this yet but as of yesterday, they’re now finally pricematching other competitors (Amazon/Best Buy/Target/Walmart) at their stores.
For online I’m not sure, they may start matching other deals on their own automatically like how Amazon does

About GameStop Price Match Policy

GameStop with their newly formed management team have been making strides in the industry with their new chairman, Ryan Cohen, who is also the founder of Chewy.

So I just left GameStop. I went to buy Skyrim. I went to Walmart first because they were selling it for $16.93, only they didn’t have it in stock. So I went to GameStop across the street not knowing they did price matching until I got to the counter. A sign was taped to the glass in front of the register saying they do price matching. So I left to retrieve my phone from my car to show Walmart’s price. The manager said “we only price match with GameStop”. 😳 I reread the price match sign then pointed out that it clearly says. Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. The look on his face was priceless. Long story short. They do price matching!!!! And I got my game for $15.99 instead of $16.93 thanks to the cashier.
