2. Identical Item – Only identical items are price matched. Identical means same item, same color, and same size.
3. Availability – The item must be available for immediate pickup (in-stock) at both, Nordstrom and its competitor.

Price Match Process at Nordstrom

There’s a bit of a tiny process as I mentioned earlier that you got to follow in order to achieve the same.

1. Eligibility – Verify that your item is eligible for a price match.
2. Find a store associate and let them know you want to price match a competitor (you can also do this at the checkout line)
3. Provide Proof – Show them your proof of price difference. A current advertisement or working link to the website will do.
4. Verification – The associate will verify your request
5. Refund – Once approved, the price will be marked down to the competitor’s price.

Nordstrom reserves the right to verify & decline any request to price match at their sole discretion.

Exclusions

As usual, not every item is price matched equally – Or at all, that is. In Nordstrom’s case, you have to consider the following exclusions when requesting a price match or price adjustment.

• Personal – Price matching requests from third parties or automated systems are not accepted.
• Limited Quantity – Price Adjustments are limited to one per item.
• Designer Items – Designer Items purchased at a sale price are excluded from price matching & adjustments in general.
• Special Sale – Items that are part of a Limited-Time Sale, Extra Savings, Anniversary Sale, Daily or Beauty Deals won’t be matched.
• Market Place – Third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, or eBay.

Prices that are the result of an error will not be price matched either.

Nordstrom Price Adjustment Process

Price adjustment is the lesser-known little brother or price matching. It takes place when you find out that a recently purchased item has been marked down by either Nordstrom or one of their select competitors.

For a price adjustment to be successful, your must request an adjustment within 14-days from the date of shipment/purchase. The item must also fulfill all the other criteria of a price match.
