What is Shopbop’s Returns Policy?

Shopbop will allow all returns on clothes and footwear that meet their return requirements if returned within 15-30 days. These clothes must be returned with no changes or activity being done to them. All original tags and security tags must be included in their original condition for a return without delay or refusals.

Footwear returns also must be returned within 15-30 days and are also required to be in their original format without postal labels on the box.

What is considered a qualified return? 

For clothes to be considered a qualified return, they must:

• Not have been bought on final sale. 
• Be returned within 30 days with no changes or activity being done to them. 

For a footwear item to be considered a qualified return, it must:

• Come with the original, undamaged shoe box. 
• If there are any changes to the box, charges will occur. 

What is Shopbop’s exchange policy?

Shopbop does not offer exchanges on items. This includes clothes that do not fit or are not the desired color. 

To exchange a piece of clothing, it must be returned. You will then have to personally place a second order for the accurate piece of clothing. 

Does Shopbop offer free returns & exchanges? 

Being that Shopbop doesn’t offer exchanges, the cost of a return is dependent on time returned and country. All U.S returns are free when returned 15 days or less. 

Those returns after 30 days will still ship for free because of the prepaid shipping label, but expect a $10 return fee. Returns outside of the U.S do not have a prepaid shipping label included, and all international returns will cost shipping that varies between countries. 

Are there any other return fees? 

Any damages can result in a portion being deducted from your refund. In addition, shipping and handling charges for returns are not refundable, including returns on unqualified items described above. 

Shopbop holds all the rights to refuse transactions, assess fees, and can close an account based upon return behavior. Most importantly, they hold the rights to decide what is a qualified or unqualified return and fees associated.

How can I guarantee the best return? 

To guarantee the best clothing return:

•  You must be able to return everything with all the original tags included and in their original condition. 
• It is recommended to never throw any of these away before returning. 
• Always keep up to date with Shopbop’s return policy and your own country’s shipping costs to ensure a seamless return. 

To guarantee the best footwear return:

•  Do not use the original shoe box as the shipping box.
•  Damaged shoe boxes or with shipping labels stuck to them will be charged a replacement fee. 

Will I get refunded through my original payment form or as store credit? 

This is dependent on the date of your return in relation to the date of delivery. Items returned within 30 days will be refunded to your original payment method.

In communication with the company, returns after 30 days may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. These returns, however, will be refunded in-store credit 

How do I perform a return? 

For returns U.S  with a prepaid shipping label included, there will also be a return form included. You must fill out this return form and then include it when returning in addition to sticking the prepaid shipping label on the package. 

For international returns. A return form is also included, but you will have to pay for shipping. After packages all U.S or international are prepared to be returned, they must be dropped off at your country’s postal service provider.
