The StockX return policy is fairly strict, and the only time you may see a refund is if there is an issue that is the fault of the company. You cannot return or exchange items that you mistakenly bought, but you can resell them on the site.
StockX is gaining popularity as the stock market of things, and the site provides a unique opportunity to get items at great prices. Understanding the return policy is essential to understand what protections are available to you as a buyer.

What Is the Return Policy at StockX?
StockX returns operate on a case-by-case basis. If there is an issue with your order you need to contact customer service in writing within 3 days of the receipt of the item.
To do this:
- Send an email to the customer service team to register the issue in writing within the 3-day return window.
- Explain in great detail any issues with the product, including undisclosed damage or signs of forgery.
- Include photos of the issue, as well as a photo that shows that the StockX verification tag is still attached to the item.
- Include at least one sharp image of the QR code on the StockX verification tag.
Do NOT remove the verification tag until you are certain that you are keeping the item. Doing this will automatically shoot down your chances of a return.
In most cases, StockX acts as a middleman between sellers and buyers, and there is no guarantee that you will be awarded a refund, exchange, or swap.
If the company grants you an exception (usually if there is an error on their part) you must ship the item back from the country that the return label indicates. This is the one tied to your original shipping address. Failing to do so may result in additional shipping costs.

How Strict Is the StockX Return Policy?
The StockX return policy is considered to be very strict. You have a small window to start the process for the return, and the product must be in the exact condition it was sent in to even start to qualify for a return.
StockX does not allow returns if the fault lies with the consumer (i.e. purchasing an item in the wrong size). Instead, the customer service team will instruct the buyer to resell the item on the site to recoup their losses.
Even damaged items are not returnable in most cases. StockX may issue a coupon for your next purchase, but this is not a guaranteed resolution.
The only times you should expect a return to go through are blatant mistakes made by the company or counterfeit items.
Can I Return My StockX Products After 30 Days?
You cannot return any StockX products after 30 days. The return window sits firmly at 3 days after the receipt of your item.
You can resell StockX products on the site after 30 days, but you will need to adjust the price for any additional wear and tear on the product during that time. If the item sat dormant for the time it should not be a major price difference, if any at all.
Are There Return Exceptions?
Exceptions on returns are made on a case-by-case basis. There is no way for StockX to guarantee results because each shopping situation is unique.
Refunds are only guaranteed if an exception is made and the return is authorized, usually in the case of a mistake on their part.
This includes any issues that buyers may have with counterfeits or fraudulent sales, but the buyer will need to cooperate with the investigative process.

Does StockX Have Free Returns?
If StockX authorizes your return then you can ship the item back to the company for free as long as you are sending it back from the country indicated on the return label.
In most cases, this is not an issue, but it is something to keep in mind if you are crossing the border anytime after receiving your item. For example, if you have the item shipped to you while on vacation in the United States and then try to return it from Canada then you may incur additional shipping charges.
How Long Do StockX Refunds Take?
Because there is no specific return policy, there is no hard-set way to determine how long a refund will take if you are granted one.
If you are dealing with a counterfeit item then the refund will not be issued until you have completed your part in the investigation.
In most cases, refunds can be expected within 7 days of the receipt of the return. You may be able to get a specialized timeline for your situation from the StockX customer service team.

Does StockX Send Fakes Back?
According to Section 6 of the StockX Terms and Conditions, StockX will refund all fees and costs paid by the buyer for a counterfeit item, including shipping and handling fees.
In exchange, the company asks that the buyer notify them within 3 days of receiving the item. StockX will open an investigation, and the consumer must cooperate with both the investigation and the disposition of the item.
This may include:
- Providing photographs and any requested evidence
- Handing the item over to the authorities
- Destroying the item (with proof)
- Returning the item
As long as the investigation supports the claim of a counterfeit item and the buyer cooperates, they can expect StockX to take the fake back and refund any fees incurred.

What is StockX return policy for wrong sizes?
We are unable to give refunds, exchanges, or swaps due to the anonymous nature of their live market, including if you purchased the wrong size. If you no longer desire your item, you’re still able to resell with them.
What can you do if your order is damaged?
If your item was received damaged from the carrier, email StockX support with your purchase number, a photo(s) of the damage, and a photograph of the box they were shipped in so they can look into it for you.
Does StockX have buyer protection?
StockX.com does not provide buyer protection. The company states that all of the items they sell are genuine as a result of their extensive verification procedure.
