How To Return a Target Item?
Store Return
Returning an item in the store is easy.
- Bring your receipt and product in its original package to customer service
- They will work with you to make any returns or exchanges
That’s it. If it is an item that isn’t eligible for a return, they offer you store credit instead, but otherwise, as long as you are in the window for your return, they should be able to handle any return without an issue.
Online
Returning items online isn’t as easy, but is still achievable.

- Find the product you want to return
- Follow the steps until you can print out a label
- Attach the label to your product
- Mail it back to them by visiting a UPS store
Some online items may only be allowed to be returned in-store, but the website will tell you that in your process to return the item if that is the case.
