While the Food Basics website declares that the Always Fresh policy promises a refund if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. There is little information about what is regarded as ‘fresh’ and the criteria for receiving a full refund. 

Always In Stock Promise

The Food Basics Always In Stock promise is probably the closest policy to a price match scheme.  Food Basics’ Always In Stock promise ensures that all advertised items will be in stock.

If this isn’t the case, Food Basics declares it will offer customers 10% off the advertised price for their next visit. 

Like the Always Fresh promise, the Always In Stock promise offers little insight into the criteria that make items eligible for the Always In Stock Promise.

There seems to be some disagreement on the web as to whether Sam’s Club will price adjust items on sale.

So, I reached out to their customer service team myself to ask.

According to the representative I spoke with, Sam’s Club will adjust their prices for you if the product you buy goes on sale. However, this employee also stressed that price matching must occur within eight days.

Also, Sam’s Club may not honor price matching on all types of sales. 

For example, they may not qualify prices from an event like Black Friday since it entails a store-wide clearance. 

What Products Are Included Under the Price Adjustment Policy

Virtually all Sam’s Club products are included in the price adjustment policy. Assuming that you purchased them online.
